Bethel UMC has many other ministries in the church you can participate in.
Members of the Altar Guild are responsible for furnishing and preparing the elements of Holy Communion for the regular services the first Sunday of each month, as well as any special services throughout the year such as Easter and Christmas; laundering the linens used in Holy Communion; changing altar paraments with seasonal colors; keeping sanctuary and altar area neat; filling pew pockets with prayer cards, offering envelopes and pencils; keeping attendance books filled with pads and pencils; and maintaining candles on altar and for Acolytes.
The Bethel Historical Society is a community organization whose purpose is to preserve, protect and record the history of the original Bethel Church building and its surroundings. Restoration efforts are continuing for the main worship area and there are plans for a museum in the basement. The society meets monthly and is open to everyone.
Emmaus is an ecumenical program of spiritual renewal and growth. A weekend retreat is sponsored at least four times each year. Small groups and monthly meetings are held for continuing community support. The Bethel Handbell Choir performs each month and rehearses on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and they play during the 10:00 a.m. worship service on the 2nd Sundays.
The Society of Prayer is an organization of people within the Bethel United Methodist Church who are growing in faith and witness through prayer. The Society is committed to intercessory prayer. Everyone is welcome to participate in any function of the Prayer Society.

The Bethel Chancel Choir provides music leadership during the 10:00 a.m. worship service each Sunday and sings a mix of traditional and contemporary SATB anthems. Rehearsals are held in the church sanctuary each Thursday night from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. September - July.
The Praise Band, known as "The Grateful Risen," rehearses from 8:00pm-9:30pm on Thursday evenings and leads the 11:30am Praise worship service every Sunday.
